Overview

On the Island of Saadiyat, the Saadiyat Link Project, opening in September, is a multi-disciplinary infrastructure works combining a 6.5 kilometre 10-lane highway and 13 kilometres of minor roads. The main interchange of the link comprises multiple flyovers and tunnels to allow efficient and proper traffic flow for visitors and residents. Work also is well underway on three Ground Storage tanks to supply over 126,000cu.m. of the Island’s potable water. The Expressway Link will serve as the main thoroughfare on the Island and creates a direct link between Abu Dhabi City Centre, Yas Island (Formula One Motorsport Circuit) and Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Our first international project

As Amtech’s first international project, we’re proud to provide forensic planning support in the review of the delay and disruption analysis of the project. We’re currently assessing the interim Extension of Time (EoT) of the project.

Opening in 2010/11, the new Museum of Liverpool housed in a new landmark building at the Pier Head on Liverpool’s world famous waterfront. It will be one of the world’s leading city history museums and demonstrate Liverpool’s unique contribution to the world and showcase popular culture while tackling social, historical and contemporary issues.

Amtech is providing monthly programme and reporting updates to the paving Contractor. In addition to the critical path analysis, we’ve produced a ‘programme to go’ to determine the best solution, balancing both material delivery and installation within a tight site area. In analysing the variations we’ve successfully gained the contractor an interim Extension of Time (EoT) award of 16 weeks.
